Alternative surround locations
Due to room & wire fishing constraints, may be a while until I'm able to ideally mount some HTM200s surrounds onto the side walls in 5.1 setup. Have 340 LCR & VTF3MKII sub in pretty good locations. 50" plasma about 10ft from main listening area in an opened-up rectangular room.
Are these reasonable alternatives to ideal surround L/R locations?

At best, might be able to place speakers on table just behind couch but probably barely at or below ear level. If so, face them up (like in link) or towards each other?
Or, another option would be on back wall but is about 10ft behind the main listening area, with some exposed wiring. I already have some wall mounts.
Or, if buy ceiling mounts, can mount above/behind listening area, but with some exposed wiring.
What would you do? Other suggestions?
Re: Alternative surround locations
Nevermind, mustered up the energy to fish the speaker wire up thru the 2nd floor attic back down to the first floor. So, was able to mount them on the side walls. Surround right's farther from than I'd like but sounds good to me.

So....do you feel like coming to my place to help wire some surrounds? :)

Haha. Sure, except I just decided to again change to orientation of my setup, as the glare on the TV has become unbearable. This will make it location #5 or 6 and the wife is thrilled about this decision.
