I was looking at these: http://www.wood-tech.com/product.php?cat=ss&series=tmt
Does anybody else have any recommendations. I want stands that are sand fillable and are 28-30 inches tall.

I was thinking about ordering from here:

I looked at those Wood-tech stands at first, but ended up with their other ones which have three round columns and a rounded, black-veneered MDF base. They match the 170 cosmetics nearly perfectly and are sand/shot fillable!

Not sure you need everything here, but it's on their website under metal upright stands.
I was looking into buying those speaker stands too. Didn't even know amazon sold stuff like that. Thanks for the heads up!
Amazon sells almost anything that you can think of. Okay, not anything, but more stuff than most people realize.Quote:

They are sand-fillable, come with adjustable spikes or rubber feet. Here are some photos:

I did some calculating last night and it looks like I'm going to need some stands that are around 36".
I'm going to be using Ascends for nearfield listening at my computer desk in my office.
Does anybody know where I can get some reasonably priced sand fillable 36" stands?
