no sound from 340c

i was listening to josh groban's live at the greek dvd this evening both in DTS:Neo6 and DD-EX and there's no audio coming out from my 340c. is that normal? i wanted to make sure and popped in a regular Fourplay cd and there was vocals coming from the 340c. my receiver is the pio 1014 if that makes any difference. any thoughts? i don't think anything's wrong with my 340c, i hope not :eek:

Some 5.1 mixes do not use the center channel.....so in a sense, they are 4.1 mixes. Try a different DVD. The fact that a different CD, (using probably DPLII) and the center playing proves the center is fine.

Yeah, try a regular DD/DTS movie DVD which should be heavy on center channel use. If you still don't hear anything, try swapping another speaker into that position. If that fixes the problem, call Ascend. If it doesn't, check your connections and receiver configuration.

yes it was just that particular discc. i watched blade 3 and the 340c worked to perfection.
