OK...watched this one last night. Liked it and it is worth a rental.

I may be biased....I know nothing about Angelina Jolie's personality......but I like her. :D

Personality? Who cares! We're only watching her and fantasizing, not marrying her. And we even get a full frontal view in one rather steamy scene! http://forum.ascendacoustics.com/images/smilies/wink.gif

I agree... this one could qualify as a guilty pleasure - it's definitely worth the couple of hours, if you don't analyze it to death. The Montreal setting adds a slightly exotic touch, and at one point Ethan Hawke even says, "I should have stayed in Winnipeg."

Made my day. http://forum.ascendacoustics.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif

Just thought of something....

was this movie in production when Ethan Hawke and Uma Thurman split up?

I believe so Curtis - my wife was saying that Ethan Hawke was having an affair with a Montreal Model - and the movie was shot in Montreal :)

GaryB - my old hometown! I was pleasently surpised when I heard the reference. Have you seen the Simpsons episode when they go to Winnipeg?

On a side note Gary - whats the definition of Crazy? Living in Edmonton, buying Eskimo season Tickets, and then going to every game in a Bomber Jersey and chat up the Blue & Gold all game long :)

You should have heard me when they painted Commonwealth Bomber BLUE and gold for the World Track & Field Championships :D

My youngest daughter, however, used to be an avid fan, even though she was too young to catch many of the references. She's now 18 and it's amazing how, so many times, when I mention something from the "good old days", she'll say, "I saw that on The Simpsons."

Another ex-Winnipegger, eh? It's nice to see that even though there are so many ex-Winnipeggers (forum members would be amazed how many there are across North America in all walks of life) most - though not all - seem to retain a soft spot in their hearts for the 'peg.
