I've recently started to listen to Internet Radio. Two stations that I recommend are:

http://radiofreephoenix.com/radiofreephoenix001.htm

They play a collection of several music genres, most of which I enjoy.

http://www.blueears.com/main.htm

They play blues. If you like the blues, give this a listen.

Anyone else have any stations they like to share? I'd really like to find a station or two that does Jazz. There are a bunch but I haven't found what I'm looking for (whatever that is).

Nice Call on Blue Ears. I just tuned in and so far it's great. Now I'm really starting to think about setting up a spare PC with optical audio to my receiver and video to my Samsung DLP. That way I can play games on the big screen and listen to Internet radio on my HT system. There really are tons of possiblities with today's technology. :D

Radio Paradise has begun broadcasting @ 192k. This is getting into the territory where the Ascends can strut their stuff. Life is good.

I just emailed my US reps. I sometimes wonder if these guys even know what the internet is. My bad I forgot...Al Gore invented the internet.

...Al Gore invented the internet.
Gore is scientifically literate and never claimed to have invented anything. The same politicans who replaced their own scientific advisory board with lobbists "invented" the Gore nonsense. Might be a good idea to give the former VP a listen if ya have kids are concerned about their future.

Didn't mean to offend, it was more of a comment of what my Ohio reps believe. I sure don't want to turn this into a political debate.

Indie rock: www.woxy.com

If you've seen Rain Man, you've heard of the now-defunct terrestrial version: "97X - BAM - The Future of Rock and Roll!"

I've been listening to this Aussie station for quite some time. Great variety and terrific info about the album and artist. http://www.abc.net.au/dig/

Thanks, Roger. I've bookmarked the Jazz and Radio stations. They're broadcasting @ 128 which is acceptable for IR.
