Are there any plans to resurrect the list/location of people willing to give auditions? I remember reading posts on HTForum where people were looking for the list.

hm.. i think the clearest plan of action/path of resistance would be to start up a new thread! if the gods that be like the thread they may make something official out of it? where should the thread be located?

Unfortunately, I don't have a copy of the old list. Maybe smokey has it on back up.

The original thread is still up in the old section of the forum: here (http://forum.ascendacoustics.com/showthread.php?t=24&page=1&pp=10)
although Curtis has pointed out that it's missing some crucial info.

Are people interested in creating a new one? Or some other kind of listing?

Yeah...but the first post(the list), or sticky is missing from the thread.

I do get a lot of requests for audition sites. We should look into this....

I live in southeast GA and would be glad to give someone an audition. Just email me at kindredspiritquartet@hotmail.com. I have 340's across the front, 170's for the rears, and a HSU VTF-2.

Hi Everyone!!! Its great to be back and the forum is terrific. I'd be happy to audition my set-up (CMT-340s across the front; CBM-170s for surrounds; and HSU VTF-3 subwoofer). I live on the east coast of central Florida for anyone living close by or for those planning a visit in the future.

I just sent off to Ascend for the new logos and will replacing the current ones once they arrive.

Bill

P.S. I have the new Ascend Hat (Thanks Curtis) and I love it.....

While my setup pales in comparison to Clutchbrake's setup, count me in for Little Rock, Arkansas. 170 fronts/surrounds & 340c center, Pioneer VSX-409 DD/DTS 5.1 receiver, Sony SA-WM40 sub. I'd like to think that his audition of mine lead to his decision to get his setup. ;)

Edit (2/28/05): Added 170 rears & other components

Happy to host a audition, though it would probably need to be before my twins go to bed.

I'm in Bloomfield, CT, just outside of Hartford, and I have 340s across the front, 170s in the rear (mounted a bit high, due to WAF considerations unfortunately), a Dayton Tiny Mighty sub, and an HK 630 powering them.

St. Louis, Missouri

340 Center, 170 Mains, 200 Surrounds.

I think we need to put this list somewhere where anyone logging on to the Ascend Website can easily locate it. Either on the main Ascend site or at least a category of its own on the forum. Something near the top that says Listen to Ascends in big bold letters.
