View Full Version : Dave Please Confirm S1 crossover connections

I conducted a S1 to S2 upgrade a couple years back. I am repurposing S1 speakers and crossover into an outdoor cabinet (TIC ASP120) whose components bit the dust.

The crossover outputs are labeled TW+ & TW- (black/red wires) and LS+ & LS- (brown/black wires). Will try to attach a pic.

Please confirm TW is for tweeter and LS is for woofer, thanks.

Ascend Sierra 1 drivers installed in ASP-120 enclosure.

SQ testing resulted in closing the port (it is too small) with a foam plug to create a sealed speaker.
As a sealed speaker the SQ is very good, they are now in use in our bedroom ! :)

TW represents the tweeter outputs, LS represents the woofer outputs. Hope this helps!
