Hi guys, I'm in Redmond, WA.
Happy to say that I ordered a pair of CBM-170s over the weekend and am very excited to receive them!
(Aside: I know some people have been waiting weeks for their higher-end offerings. Does anybody know if the speakers for us plebes have a shorter wait time?)
I've never owned bookshelf speakers before so I went [online] shopping for speaker stands too. "Sanus" seems to be the most popular brand but I couldn't bring myself to buy any after reading so many extremely negative reviews of their lower-end products on Amazon.
Instead I ordered some glass and aluminum stands from Monoprice. I have some reservations about glass vs. speakers, but I figure that high-quality bookshelf speakers shouldn't be vibrating too much, and if they do, maybe I can make some rubber or foam mats for them.
