Just got my D15 Rythmik sub...this thing is pretty huge. i was wondering if someone can tell me how to tune this thing. I will definitely give a review once i had it set up.

My setup currently is:

yamaha V663 AVR
Def Tech Mythos 4 tower
Def Tech Mythos 7 center
Def Tech Mythos Gem Surround

I currently have all the speakers set to small. My sub input is connnected to the Line "L", not sure if thats is correct. It doesnt have LCR input on the sub. On the subwoofer settings i have it on 80hz/24.

these are the settings im not sure how to set. Im not a savvy HT guy so please bear with me.

1. What power voltage should i set it on? 220-240 or 110-120v? i assume the latter one.

2. PEQ (on or off)
3. Gain
4. Bandwidth
5. Freq
6. Delay/Phase
7. Crossover
8. Level
9. extension filters (freq @ 14, 28, 20)
10 damping (Low, High, Mid)

The recommended initial setting with HT:
0) LP set to EXT/12 (not 80hz/24).
1) power 110-120v (for US, Canada, Mexico)
2) PEQ: off
3, 4, 5) don't care with PEQ off.
6) 0 (will be adjusted from HT receiver).
7) set to max first (then gradually dial down for best integration).
8) level at 12 o'clock to begin with. Gradually move it higher to balance sub with front speakers.
9) Extension filter: 14hz
10) Damping: high.

9, 10 can trade off max extension vs max output. If one really likes to play loud, he needs to set to 28hz/low damping.

This is great! Maybe Dave can make this a sticky.

Also, I assume these settings would apply equally well to the F12, F12SE, and any other Rythmik sub with the A370PEQ amp (and the A300 for the included controls), correct?

Thanks!
