I just purchased a Rhythmik subwoof, which I am very excited about! I plan to connect it to my integrated amp using its line level "main out/pre in" connections as my amp doesn't have any sub out outputs. I will be using it for 2 channel music only. I also have to run an "in wall" wire to make the connection. I have two questions: 1) Can I use the Interlink in-wall cable Ascend sells? 2) Can anyone recommend a good RCA crimp type connector? (I want to avoid soldering if at all possible).

Thanks,

Dean

Do you mean "Ultralink" cable? That's all I see at the site. That's actually speaker cable, not line level cable. You should use line level cable. How long is your run?

See here: http://bluejeanscable.com/store/subwoofer/index.htm
or

I use a 20' monoprice cable in-wall (in conduit). Works great, no noise.

Be sure to post your impressions of the subwoofer when you have it set up!

My run is about 20 feet and goes through the floor in one room and up through the floor in the next room. So I need in-wall certified and need to build my own. Also, I have to use my amps. pre-out/main-in connections, (My amp doesn't have a sub out) so I have 2 inputs and 2 outputs from the amp to sub I need to connect to. I am assuming you have to connect both the left and right (in/out) between amp and sub. Please correct me if I am wrong anywhere with the above.

thanks for your help.
