I have an Epik Valor on order http://www.epiksubwoofers.com/ValorSpecifications.html, but am still considering the F15 in black oak. It seems as though the two are similar, but the Rythmik having better bass management features. The Epik reportedly has very good output for a smaller sealed SW and is considered as good as the HSU 3.3 with music.
The Epik is $549 where as the Rythmik is $899. I live 5 minutes away from Epik and it would be very conveinent for me.
I am about 50/50 HT and music. I am currently using a Mirage Omni S12 which has been mainly good for me.
What would the pros and cons be of both?

Thanks

I haven't heard the Valor, but I have a Hsu VTF-3.3. If the Valor matches the Hsu, then I think the Rythmik will be a noticeable increase in sound quality.

I don't miss anything in terms of output between the two, and from what Dave and Brian have posted, the output of the 15" Rythmik should be comparable to the 3.3.

In your experience then, does the 3.3 match the output of the F-15?

I think you are asking if the F15 has the same output as the 3.3...right? In my room, yes. The 3.3 was more than enough in my room, and so is the F15.

If two different subwoofers are able to handle a room, ie. they are each within their limits, then when calibrated, neither should have more output than the other.

Just saw this thread. Glad to know the F15 has sufficient output to match the 3.3 in your room. How big is your room?
