I will soon be getting my Sierra 1's, and HTM 200's for surrounds. My marantz receiver only has the option of one crossover setting for all speakers. So I must choose between 80Hz and 60Hz. I am thinking 80 might be best. But Dave advised me that 60HZ would probably be the way to go, in order to get the most out of the Sierra 1's. He said not to worry about the 200's, because any bass they could not handle would just roll of of them. So if I choose 60Hz, can I still jam it loud in 4 channel stereo? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Also, I wanted to originally go with 170's as surrounds, but decided against it because of their size. My room is only 14x13. However, I do like to listen LOUD at times. I may be forced to upgrade if the 200's do not measure up, however. My system is powered my an emotive LPA1 125 watt amp. I also am using an Outlaw sub.

With a 60hz crossover, you will still be able to play it loud.....no problem.

If your using a sub, I vote for 80hz with your set up

It probably depends on the quality of your sub. The Sierras put out more detailed bass than most subwoofers out there. That's why 60hz may work better for you.
