I've just taken the plunge and emailed Dave so I can enjoy the Sierras on the other side of the world :D
Problem is, I am currently having trouble locating a suitable amp, either second hand or new for stereo use. I don't really want to spend more than AUD$800 and choices here seem limited. I've read that the sierras have relatively low efficiency. My current choice for a new amp is the Denon PMA-700AE which can be had for AUD$799. Problem is, its maximum rated output is 50W pch at 8 ohms and I fear that this is not sufficient for the Sierras. Reading up on a review, it appeared that they were able to get 60 watts out of it at 8 ohms. Is this enough for the sierras?
