Hi all. I'm buying 340se front and center in the near future and am looking for a dipole surround that would match well overall to the sound. Can anyone offer any suggestions. Thanks.

I HAVEN'T personally heard them matched up with the Ascends, but when talking other than direct, ALOT of folks really like the Axiom QS8 and QS4 series as surrounds(especially the QS8).

I'm pretty sure I read on the Spot or HTF(can't remember exactly where...), that someone paired these up and loved the sound, but as stated, I haven't PERSONALLY heard them.

Have Fun,

Get HTM-200s, or, if you have room/budget get 170ses. Most peopel here will guarantee better results. Dipoles are for people who do not know how to position their speakers.

Dipoles are overrated in my experience, and create flat, dimensionless sound, which will NEVER match your Ascends.

I am going to make the fan dipole w/o the 10 meter wire.I have a vertical for that band, that works well for local use.
