the 340 stands..

ive been busy with schoolwork, not much time for this junk now days. for an update- ive had my 340s for a while now and i love them, im powering them with my harman 110x2 stereo receiver. looking to either build stands or go to IKEA and see what they have. i dont feel like paying 150 for the good ascend ones. take it easy curtis, Richie.

school is going great (west virginia university if your curious). i looked at ikea's website and they have a few pairs of stands that are dirt cheap. they are for smaller speakers though. im taking a trip to the store today to see if they have any others in the actual store.

I called Dave and he told me they were 21" high. The same height as the 340's. I needed to know because of the height of my couch. So you might want to double check with ascend too make sure.

hmmmm...when I emailed David about the height of the stands when I was interested in them, this is what I got in a reply:

"The Stands are approximately 24" high when using the base and spiked feet (recommended)."

I sent David an email asking to clarify.

Hi Guys,

I apologize for any confusion...

Our stands for the CMT-340 mains are 24" high when using the included spiked feet. Without the feet, they are about 22 1/2" high.
