If anyone needs a second system, or a main one, this is a very robust machine. Built like a tank at 36lbs. with high output power amps. It has 6x 65watt amps.

It works perfectly on DVD DD and DTS soundtracks, and the direct inputs as well. However, the unit has developed audio dropouts on the digital and analog inputs when playing a PCM bitstream from CD's via the DVD player or my dedicated analog output only CD player.

Outlaw estimated repair at $50-$80 plus shipping both ways. I talked my wife into letting me get something new since my birthday is on the 4th, and I could use the money from the sale to help defray the cost of a new purchase.

These have recently sold on Audiogon for $350 and up....in %100 working condition. I could let it go for $200 with buyer assuming shipping cost. I have all original packaging and manual.

When I bought the 1050 it replaced a Marantz receiver which retailed for $1100, and the Outlaw stomped it for amp power and SQ, as well as build!

If anyone is interested, with a small investment to repair this is still a highly sought after unit.

I can split the shipping from 44137 area code......approx. 40lbs.

The 1050 is a breeze to set up and use. You can access all of it's functions from the remote and front panel. It allows "On the fly" adjustments for everything(bass management, delay, speaker config....you name it!).

Still available. I can handle shipping and have bottomed out the price at $150!

I've got a couple people interested on another forum, but are unsure. This is a great piece at a steal. If you put $100(repair+shipping to/from Outlaw) into it, for $250 you have a unit going for around $350 on Audiogon/ebay. The amp section alone is worth the price, so act now.

I auditioned several new receivers at a B&M store(Yamaha, Denon) in the $500-$700 range, and thought the 1050 still holds it's own. If I don't sell this I will not regret having it fixed and continue using it!

I will leave it for sale another couple of weeks. If I still have it, it goes in for repair and I'll keep it.
