Difference between 340M & 340C

I was just wondering. Is the only difference between 340M's and 340C's the orientation of the tweeter. If that is the only difference, then if I wanted to mount 3 340's in a row, on their sides (long dimension horizontal), towards the ceiling, above a large screen (8 feet wide), angled down towards the listeners should I order 3 340C's? Just curious. The attached photo shows what I am thinking about, although my version would be a lot more diy.

With the classics, that was the case, as well as a change in the crossover to compensate for the extended baffle that is created when the center channel sits on top or below a TV.

I would consult with Ascend on this one.
